    Description

    1937 Gibson L 37 archtop. Stamp inside reads 840 batch # letter C =1937 ,sequence #20 in red pencil. This guitar had some major cracks in the soundboard which have been repaired with cleats. Also there was a hairline crack in the heel that has been glued and stabilized. The tuners are Kluson non original from that time period. The buttons could be replaced but they work fine.  The frets have had a light dressing probably originals. The saddle base is original but the saddle is newly made ebony . Original pickgaurd with hardware. The finish on the soundboard has been blended. Not perfect but looks ok for a player. All other finish is original. Plays nice. Has a great sound as a 37 Gibson should. Please look at pictures and ask questions. Thanks for looking.
