    Description

    Up for sale is a 1940 1941 American Bantam Three Main Bearing Crankshaft *****BROKEN***** Austin.
    This crankshaft was degreased, wet magnafluxed, and measured on May 17, 2021. It is cracked on rod journal 1 where it should be radiused. Previous cutting did not provide for proper radii.
    Rod journals measured ~1.230”
    Main 1: 1.9950”
    Mains 2&3: 1.9958
    Straightness: .006”
    My shop will not fix this because of where the crack is and the small size of the crank. I have a lot into it and it was an unfortunate discovery. If someone is interested in seeing if this can be repaired or may be usable for their application, please reach out and I may be able to work with you for a period to see if this will be usable for you,
