    Description

    This is a 1976
    Japan-made Conn
    (000 Martin D-18 X-Bracing Dreadnaught Clone) w/Original Case in near-mint condition.
This 1976 Japan-made Martin D-18 clone, the big "000" instrument.  It is in near-mint, unmolested condition.  It plays scary-fantastic.  These Japanese-made instruments, while copies of Martins, have a quality all their own that can exceed the Martins they approximate. This 44 year old guitar is ready to go on stage with any Bluegrass, Country, Folk guitar or Rock player in the business.  This one is a fantastic example of the finest big Martin-copy guitars Conn imported from Japan.
Features: A massive 41 inches overall length, 20 inch X 16.375 inch X 5 inch body, It has a Rosewood, radius fret board with 20 frets and a 25.5 inch scale.  That is a real stretch.  No small hands need apply.
The pictures tell the story.  This guitar shows no wear.  This guitar is ready to go, almost just like off-the-showroom-floor condition.  It has a couple of hen-peck dings, and two under-the-finish blemishes about the size a half of a one-cent stamp.  The guitar comes in the original case, plush red inside, black outside, with red stitching on the outside of the black case.  The 44 year old case is clean as a whistle.  Like I said, this guitar and set-up are practically brand new.
Sold under the well-respected "Conn" trade name, a U.S. company that has a long history of importing fine musical instruments of all kinds.  The body starts at the 14th fret (not the 12th).  Radius on the fretboard.  At 44 years old, this guitar is still very much like brand new.  Take care of it, and be careful not to ding or damage it, and you'll see your investment appreciate considerably over the years. There is minimal, (no more than typical to set-up) belly bulge, and the action has never had to be lowered.  This "000" body produces a loud booming voice.
I am not providing a return policy.  Buy this on my reputation.  This guitar is priced at 9, and I want the buyer to feel secure in their purchase.  This one is set-up, and ready to play.  This is not a try it, and if you like it, keep it, offer.  Buy it, and if the guitar doesn't meet your expectations, resell it to someone who appreciates good, old instruments in super-quality condition.  It is what it is.  I am confident almost any guitar player will be thrilled to own this near mint guitar.  This is a guitar that your band-members will look at, and literally swoon.  Don't let those clowns touch it!  This one is far too special to be handed around like an old revolver for the admiration of the raucous and cheering crowd.
Make an offer, and you can own it.
Continental U.S. buyers only, without arrangement prior to bidding.  Shipping is a reasonable .  Add to the shipping cost if south of Delaware or west of Michigan.  Parcel will be shipped USPS, boxed with the strings loosened.  (USPS can be very slow, though they are completely reliable.)
