Description

These guitars have an interesting history. The Shenandoah series was a line of guitars Martin made with help from a factory in Japan. The wood was cut in Japan, but shipped to the US to be made at the Martin factory in Nazareth, PA. The top is solid, but the back and sides are laminated. Make no mistake- this sounds exactly like a Martin should. The sound is loud, warm, and balanced. The playability on this guitar is incredible. The saddle has been shaved as low as possible, making the action low and intonation nearly perfect. The nitro finish is cracking on the top, but no cracks beyond that. The neck has a little wear, as do the frets and fretboard. The pickup works, but the input jack should be replaced. Non original hard shell case is included.
