Getting very hard to find any original 1973 TM400K's. Completely unaltered. All plastics, airbox, oil injection, pipe (needs work but is a good core pipe), tank (no rust inside--very clean), seat (other than cover), IRC tires (roached), levers, chain-guides-guards, cables, shocks, number plates (missing front), sprockets, wheels, forks, frame/swingarm, are all present and all original. All bolts have Suzuki 'S' on them. Motor appears to be untouched. Due to condition of these OEM IRC tires, I believe this to be a low mileage bike.
Huge compression. Excellent spark. Motor turns very smooth. Clutch pull action seems smooth. I have not started, nor do I intend to try and start this bike. Sold as-is. You are buying a restoration project.
1973 was the first year for the 'modern' TM 400. While the '73 TM250 was still basically a stripped down TS enduro, these 400's were highly upgraded from the earlier '71-'72 models.
