THIS IS A 1979 RM 250 THAT HAS BEEN RETRO-MODDED TO LOOK LIKE AN EARLIER RH SUZUKI WORKS BIKE.
Beautiful BIKE built to race, but nice enough to show. Has a very low seat height of only 34" from ground WITHOUT a rider aboard.
New tires, grips, cables, restored frame, new 1st over top end, new chain, sprockets, seat cover, bars, etc.
Excellent project bike or restore to taste. This bike runs fantastic.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY.
This build started with a very clean, good condition, matching numbers '79 RM250N that then had the following work performed.
The fuel tank is a 1976-78 RM250 aluminum tank that was professionally restored. This included all minor dings removed with special metal working tools where NO BONDO was used. Tank was then prepared and sprayed with 2 stage fuel impervious paint and clear coat. Any spilled fuel will NOT HARM the finish on this tank. TM & Suzuki 'S' stickers are below the clearcoat. The 'SUZUKI' logo has been cleared over and is not removable.
Beautiful '79N rear swing arm with 1" longer wheelbase than previous RM models.
INCLUDES NEW:
Newer style and design MOTO-X FOX AIR SHOX w/factory supplied air pressure gauge for adjusting shock stiffness.
Semi-works KYB front forks lightened and turned down for reduced weight. Air fork caps with cooling fins.
Freshly restored frame :  powder-coated black.
All new translucent DC Plastics.
New crank and rod. All new internal crank seals, external gaskets, all new.
Near perfect custom coned pipe exhaust and custom billet aluminum silencer (rebuildable).
Fresh seat cover & foam.
New chain. New chain defense. New shock/chain defense built for N swing arm. New cables. New front sprocket.  New Uni foam filter.
New grips.
New graphics, cables, controls, Uni air filter, etc.
New bearings abound; wheels, steering, swingarm, brake arms/leve
rs.
Flat slide Mikuni carb rebuilt and bike is super fast.
Rear Fox shocks work phenomenally well.
Semi works 36mm front forks are super plush. Polished triple clamps.
An absolute ton of time, energy, and money went into this build.
This bike does have some race time on it as can be seen by some wear marks on engine side cases. Well sorted and ready to race.
