This kit dates back to 1955 the box is faded and torn but has no holes. I have taken detailed pics and will package the item very carefully.

Being sold as is due to nature of hobby, thanks for looking.
    More information:
68" wingspan for .29-.35 Glow Engines
    Possible Electric Conversion
Molded Cowl and Clear Molded Canopy
Kit dates back to 1955 as listed on the plans.
    Includes wire landing gear.
Kit has not been started. While the contents are undamaged, the outer box shows signs of external water staining and writing on the lid. The outside of the box is well worn with the label torn. The full size plans are intact (2 pages), but have slightly yellowed with time. Decals were never supplied as part of this age kit. The white plastic "polystyrene" cowl is in good shape. The vacuum formed "celluloid" canopy, as is common with kits this old, has some shrinkage across the top. The builder is required, according to the plans, to build a "canopy frame" to which the clear "celluloid" plastic canopy is adhered and thus supported in its span and length. Applying heat while on the support frame, which secures the removable canopy to the fuselage, should reshape the wrinkles out. Alternatively, the builder can sheet the canopy structure and install just the windows as cutouts.
Originally this kit was designed for "free flight, U-control, and escapement RC" as was available back in the day when Berkeley manufactured the kit. The parts are die cut. This is certainly a "builders style" kit and not an ARF. The plans show rudder and elevator controls. It seems possible to add ailerons with modifications.
