    Description

    A rare example of a 2 piece Civil War Confederate State Texas Militia coat locally made button.   Albert# TX-31-A.  Backmark is a blank depressed channel" .   Button has a dark excavated patina. The button does have a restored shank and there is a small epoxy repair visible on the edge of the front.    Button measures about 22mm.  See photos for condition details.
