    Description

    Quite unusual and lovely Victorian wax boudoir doll, with compartment under seat for use as a trinket box or powder puff.   The character, in our view, seems to be wearing a "jester" like costume, with wonderful facial details including hand painted eyes and "jeweled" tears.  The wax hands appear to have been re-attached at some time, the rest of the doll is in very nice condition.  Since this is not an area of expertise for us, please look at the pictures and ask questions as needed.
