    Description

Handcrafted by Jamie Kinscherff- this is a one-of-a-kind, artisan quality guitar with not a scratch or ding to be found. Sitka spruce top, scalloped maple bracing, flame maple back and sides, birdseye maple neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, mother of pearl inlay, completed with a bone nut and saddle. The case has the mojo- a few scuffs and stickers from a world tour. Powerful and resonant, the tonal quality is impressive. 1-11/16" nut. More photos available.
I inquired with Taylor for the specs and below is their response:
"We made the "Artist" in the mid to late 80's and don't know exactly how many, but it was somewhere around 50 to a 100 all together over a 3 year span.
Some were made with flames around the soundhole and some without, with Green, Blue, Red, Natural as the primary colors. It was very randomly done guitar. It's a unique one to have as a result.
As far as a comparable model, the only thing that comes to mind is the new Gallery Series guitar that has koi fish inlayed into a beautiful light blue, ivoroid binding, it's amazing, certainly in the same category as the artist series. If I'm not mistaken they're listing for 98"
