The Man With the Golden Gun
is a 1974 spy film and the second to star Roger Moore as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond.
The plot has James Bond (Moore) targeted by the world's most expensive assassin, while he attempts to recover sensitive solar cell technology that is being sold to the highest bidder. The storyline has actor Christopher Lee as the  evil Scaramanga, a hitman who charges one million dollars per job. He becomes linked to the death of a scientist working on a powerful solar cell, and Bond is called in to investigate. As he tracks down Scaramanga, he realizes that he is highly respected by the killer, which may or may not prove to be an advantage in the final showdown...
This listing is for an original (not a copy) newspaper clipping from 12-19-74. It is approx. 4¾" x 7½" and advertises the opening of "The Man With the Golden Gun" at a couple of local walk-in theaters and a drive-in theater (remember those?) The clipping has “10-19-74” in ink on the front and "19Dec74" in ink on the back.
Also included in this listing is an article about Roger Moore playing Bond and some information about the filming of the movie. The clipping is approx. 10" x 3

Both clippings are from a San Diego newspaper, show fading/tanning from age and have
the remains of double-stick tape on the reverse (clippings were removed from a scrapbook). The tape remains on one side of the reverse of the article is still a little sticky, and has been covered with a small piece of paper.
