General Description
The PN-150HD relay has six transfer contacts. Four are heavy duty contacts that can carry 15 amperes up to 30 volts dc and ac. The other two contacts are standard contacts with a 4-ampere capacity. This relay can be used in place of a PN-150B relay when greater contact capacity is required. The PN-150HD requires the indicated polarity for its operation. Note: Refer to the ordering tabulation below for information on PN-150HD back contact pressure considerations. Contacts of the PN-150HD relay are Heavy duty silver to silver-impregnated carbon front and silver-to-silver back, standard low voltage silver to silver-impregnated carbon front and silver-to-silver back. All PN-150HD relays incorporate Lexan® covers.
Application Considerations (Contacts) The heavy duty back contacts of this relay are adjusted to maintain a higher pressure against the heels in order to provide a lower contact resistance when the relay is de-energized. As a result, this relay may show a tendency to pick up under reverse polarity voltage (has to be higher than two to three times the nominal system voltage, and severe mechanical vibration or shock conditions must exist). Hence, this relay may not be used in polarized circuits such as HD line or NWP/RWP switch repeater circuits.

Md Industrial Salvage is a different type of recycling company. We have operated in
Baltimore
and surrounding areas since 1996. After starting out rescuing fireplace mantles and cast iron door locks from construction dumpsters, we have opened our eyes to may types of waste that are often over looked and fall through the cracks. Our focus is, and always will be vintage items of the highest quality. But with our eyes now open we put a lot of effort in bringing you high end industrial and electrical parts as well. All our items are salvaged and are for the most part American Made. One week we could be in an old School or Brewery, the next week a Factory, and the following week and Shipyard or Power plant, you just never know. Also, one day we may be removing Vintage lighting, the next day Signs and Vintage blueprints and the following day cleaning out a machine shop or high end parts room.
