Vintage Fox 35 Control Line Stunt Gas Model Airplane Engine
Approximately 1955 production model of Duke’s iconic stunt design.
The Fox stunt 35 has likely powered more control line stunt models than any other engine (my opinion). With the decline of control line (recent popularity notwithstanding) and the onset of electrics, it is unlikely that any internal combustion stunt engine will outnumber the Fox.
Volumes have been written about this design. Their reliability and consistent 4-2-4 breaks are legendary. They were oft maligned for their low power output, but in the end, their power to weight ratio was surprisingly good as long as the correct fuel was used. Tractability was also best in class for stunt models.

Identified as a 1955 production series because of the small web on the crankcase, the propeller and drive washers may have been upgraded to more robust designs. Fasteners have been upgraded to stainless steel socket head cap screws.
This motor has excellent compression and fits. Cosmetics are good – please look at the photos. Glow plug is good. Motor comes with Master Airscrew 10x6 propeller used for test runs.
The motor hands starts well hot or cold and is easy to needle.
Remember to run 25% castor oil and at least 10% nitromethane in your fuel.
