I could not find this engine in the Model Engine Encyclopedia but based on research I have done I think it is a .29 size made by K+B. The engine as the number 3407 on the right engine mounting lug.
As you see in the pictures the engines is mounted to a lightweight aluminum motor mount and also includes a hardwood firewall mount, see picture #12. It demonstrates excellent compression and the motor turns over smoothly and includes fuel tank, spark plug, capacitor and aluminum spinner.
This Torpedo is probably from the mid 1940's but I am not certain of that fact. It is unusual to find these older Torpedo engines with the capacitor attached but as you see in the pictures this engine has one.
