This auction is for 4 rare original Civil War Confederate soldier uniform buttons, 2 coat buttons with seven stars and 2 cuff buttons with little circles. The seven marks on each button represent the original 7 states of the Confederate States of America. All are marked: D. EVANS & CO. - the coat buttons are also marked: ATTLEBORO, MASS. - and the cuff buttons are also marked: EXTRA - These buttons show just light wear and overall are still in excellent condition. The coat buttons measure 1" in diameter, the cuff buttons measure 9/16" in diameter, and the total weight is 15 grams.
